This is a pretty amusing blog post, that is entirely true, but can be applied to virtually any software UI, whether browser based or not desktop based… (especially seeing as browser based web apps are becoming more and more rich UI like)

Anyway thought it was a funny read on why sometimes the addition of what (on the surface) maybe a simple sounding feature, can often be fraught with all sorts of caveats and edge cases that must be handled for an app to be robust and logical for the end user…
I like this line the best: “The code behind the feedback window is, again, bigger than the http-call code. (By now you’ve gotten the idea that the core functionality of a feature is often the very smallest part.)“
